Programmable Sign Board

The Programmable Sign Board (PSB) is a Java applet that was developed to be a teaching tool for basic computer science. It is useful for demonstrating basic microprocessor functionality, memory mapping, video displays, basic operating system concepts, assembly language programming, basic data structures, and even hexadecimal. You are welcome to use this tool for teaching individual classes, for learning yourself, or for just having fun. If you would like to incorporate it into a commercial teaching application or textbook, please contact Bret Peterson.

If you have trouble getting the applet to run, make sure that your Java version is current.

Enjoy!
